Why you want to do this is because you might misread when seasons close in different Units. For example I wanted to go bear hunting this spring but I didn't know where to go. So i went to my regulations And 1 of the places I wanted to hunt closed May 31rst and the other closed the 15th of June. And the regulations tell you When the deadlines to apply are and what percent of a chance you have of drawing that tag. And Some states have a system where the more years you apply the more names in the hat. So try and apply for your dream hunts while y...

The Best recipes for deer maybe elk and fish

Hey, guys welcome back to another post. So today I am going to tell you some of the best recipes i have used for my deer and fish and it might work on elk or some other animals but this is what i have tried.      First up is what i loved about this deer recipe is that it only took like 5-10 minutes to season and it only takes an hour on high. And i know some people are gonna say like what the heck bro. But it really is fine but if you dont want medium rare cook it for and hour and if you do want medium rare cook it for probably 45 mins. So really i pre heated my dads treagar on high then while that was happening i put some salt pepper lowrys alpine touch and some southwest chipolte powder on there and cooked it for an hour it was a little hard but it was so good. Then for my fish i also did on the traeger  i made a water brown sugar and alpine touch brine soaked it for 3 hours in the fridge then smoke it for an hour and a half it was such a good lake trout....

How to Fly Fish

Many people may be wondering how to use a fly rod and if you learn better by visual go check out my rumble channel robber mcbobber. So anyways your friend might ask you to go fly fishing at a remote mountain stream and you might be thinking oh no what am i gonna tell oh no no no. But don't worry this is like spreading butter on toast.      1. First grab above your reel.     2. Then grab some line and pull it. The more line the longer of a cast.      3. Go behind your head and throw it to where you want.      4. As you are letting go flick your wrist      5. When your fly hits the water, take your pointer finger and gently pull like your grabbing your pole to pick it up.     6. When you feel your line have more tension repeat step 5.     7 From here on out its basically just like regular fishing.      8. Jerk the pole to hook the fish then let him run then start reeling    ...

Hunting Dogs

Maybe you live in the Mid-West where shooting pheasants where a dog is used a lot to point and flush out pheasants or quail. I know some people use there dogs for shed hunting, retrieving, hunting mountain lions, or to alert them when a 10 foot monster Kodiak bear is near by. Dog's can be used for many many different things. But what one is better? Well every dog has their own perks for hunting them like a lab can be used for pheasant hunting, shed hunting and retriving ducks. Or a bluetick coon hound can be used for mountain lion hunting shed hunting, guard dog or to retrieve birds. It really depends on what you are going to be using your dog for. Like I am teaching my 3 year old black lab moose to shed hunt. And he'll also chase rabbits and what not. But we also use him as a house pet. Or some people like German short haired pointers that will point out the quail or pheasant or it will find sheds.                   Even thou...

Which is better 7mm-08 Remington or 243 Winchester?

Hey welcome back. Today we are going to be taking a look at a 7mm-08 Remington and the .243 Winchester. I have shot both of these calibers. I loved both. I shot my first deer a big 4x5 mule deer buck. And I shot my 3x5 mule deer buck with my 7mm-08. Even though these two calibers are almost identical in size with where the bullet is and how long it is the 7mm-08 packs a little more punch than the .243 Win. The 243 has a faster flatter shooting round but the 7mm-08 can shoot a lighter grain bullet to be as flat and as fast. The 243 is good for varmit's target shooting deer coyote and some people even use it for bears. And the 7mm-08 Remington is good for 300 yard shots at coyotes deer elk bear and a lot more things.      In my opinion you can't go wrong with either caliber. They are both great cartridges. Even though the 243 has 6 1/2 pound recoil difference it might pay to shoot one or the other depending on where you live.      And i am going to try ...
